Whether they’re poking out of a pair of wide-leg jeans or styled with straight-leg silhouettes, they're unquestionably one of the most wearable styles of the season.

Despite the cooler weather upon us, on the FW 24 runways, designers were encouraging us to get our ankles out this season. Mules were the unexpected shoe trend we saw, in various iterations from square toes at Bottega Veneta to slipper-style mules at Miu Miu. Show them off with a chic pair of straight-leg jeans.
